An Obama presidency

by

Desperation about the way the election is going appears to have firmly taken root at Focus on the Family.

A fictitious letter from 2012 posted on the organization’s political action Web site takes a look at what the country could look like four years after electing a secret Muslim friend of terrorists to the highest office in the land.

But remember, this is only what could happen. The sky will only fall if you don’t do your God-ordained Christianly duty of voting for John McCain on Nov. 4.

Read this now and post a link to it all over your God-fearing friends’ Facebook walls.

If not, all of this could happen:

-Far-left liberals could hold a 6-3 majority on the U.S. Supreme Court.

-The nation’s highest court could rule same-sex ‘marriage’ is a constitutional right — in all 50 states.

-Preaching from the Bible could be banned from radio and television.

-States could not be able to restrict abortion, and taxpayers could be forced to fund abortions.

-In several states, it could be illegal to own a gun.

-Public school teachers could no longer be free to lead students in the pledge of allegiance.

-Public schools could no longer be able to rent their facilities to churches for worship.

-Campus ministry organizations like Campus Crusade For Christ could shrink to skeleton organizations or no longer exist at all.

-Within a week of his inaugauration, Obama could abolish ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ and invite homosexuals to openly join the military.

-All Roman Catholic and Christian adoption agencies could be shut down.

-Elementary schools could all have compulsary training in varieties of gender identity, including the goodness of homosexuality as one possible personal choice.

-The Boy Scouts of America could cease to exist as an organization.

-Physicians who refuse to offer artificial insemination to lesbian couples could lose their licenses or face large enough fines to put them out of business.

-Churches could no longer be able to turn down homosexuals for staff positions like youth pastor and director of counselor.

-Iran could launch a nuclear bomb in mid-2010 that explodes in the middle of Tel Aviv, destroying much of the city.

-Waiting lists for prostrate cancer could be three years under a free universal health care system.

-People older than 80 could have no access to medical care or surgical procedures because of a governmental rationing of medical resources.

-Gas could cost more than $7 a gallon.

-Periodic blackouts to conserve energy could occur on a regular schedule throughout the nation.

-Every conservative talk show program could be followed by an instant rebuttal by a liberal watchdog group.

I decided to check out the site and I came across a link to prayforsarahpalin.com My question is: Why do we need to have websites for praying for politicians? Why do we need to have websites for praying for anyone. The last time I checked, prayer is a personal discipline that is a way for believers to communicate with God. Why do I need a website to tell me how to pray?

By the way, I did discover that both John McCain and Barack Obama have “pray for” sites, but they are not nearly as flashy and intentional as Sarah Palin’s.

If indeed Focus on the Family gets their way and McCain/Palin wins, there will definitely need to be a lot of prayer for Sarah Palin. Prayer that McCain does not die of old age and force Sarah Palin to be the President of the United States.

Mike, we need a Web site to pray for Sarah Palin because there is a spiritual warfare going on.

The liberal media is attacking Sarah Palin because she is a real Christian (not a black liberation Christian like Barack) and she represents absolute truth.

All that stuff about her repeated stretching of the truth on the campaign trail is all liberal media propaganda. And don’t bother checking Fact Check because that’s a front for the liberal media that wants to take over America, make Barack Obama president and already mentioned in the above post put the Boy Scouts of America, Campus Crusade For Christ and Christian adoption agencies out of business.

    From the New York Times:

“Dr. (James) Dobson told Ms. Palin that he and his wife, Shirley, were praying for her, and that they had convened 430 people last weekend to pray for ‘God’s perfect will to be done on Nov. 4.’

“She responded, ‘I can feel the power of prayer and the strength that is provided by our prayer warriors across this nation.'”
